MALEVOLENCE VIDEO INTERVIEW

The album Where Only the Truth is Spoken comes out in June; what does the Cover represent to you?

So, the idea around the cover was that we wanted to have a central figure which has been the consistent theme across the Malevolence artwork but we didn’t want him to have a face we just wanted him to do the symbol of silence or shhh.

The album title itself Is Where Only the Truth is Spoken’ stems from a trip Wilkie (Robinson) our bass player went on last year and he got talking to a guy in a bar where they were from and the guy asked Wilkie are you from Sheffield and Wilkie replied with Yeah and the guy replied with Yeah where only the truth is spoken. So, I thought that was a nice little annotate and was kind of true that people from Sheffield are known for being quite honest and open, and saying things how they are. It felt right that if we are calling the album something related to Sheffield that we had this industrial feel in the background since Sheffield is known as the steel city.
